Managing Director / Head Trader
Rajiv K. Shah is a Managing Director and Head Trader for Lazari Capital Management. He is responsible for oversight of all trading strategies for the private client group.
His primary focus is on the implementation of various option strategies to capture premium while minimizing risk and hedge customer portfolios in periods of increased volatility. In addition, he provides expertise in general operations and compliance related to both Lazari Capital Management and Lazari Asset Management. Prior to joining Lazari Capital Management, Mr. Shah was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank in the firm's Miami and Jacksonville offices, where he was responsible for oversight, related to trading and surveillance of the firm's Private Bank and Private Client Group.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Shah has held various senior manager roles at TD Ameritrade, Prudential Financial and Wells Fargo Securities. Mr. Shah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from State University of New York at Buffalo in Amherst, NY, and Master of Business Administration degree from University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. In addition Mr. Shah holds the following FINRA Series Licenses: 63,65,6,7,55,4,24,27 & 53.
In his personal time Mr. Shah enjoys traveling, physical fitness and spending time with family and friends.
