Investment Philosophy

"It's not whether you are right or wrong, but how much money you make when you're right, and how much you lose when you're wrong."

George Soros

Our primary area of expertise includes a contrarian value strategy with a large emphasis on dividend and interest income. We achieve this strategy through stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange traded funds, options, reverse convertible notes, and alternative investments. We focus on undervalued companies that have strong fundamentals, low price-to-earnings, and above market dividends. As a result, we are proactive in sheltering client portfolios during bear markets and proactive in empowering client portfolios during bull markets.

The key points of our value contrarian investment philosophy are the following:

I. Value - We seek to make investments in strong companies that pay dividends, which maybe out of favor or experiencing poor investor sentiment at a particular time.

II. Discipline - We maintain our investment thesis, regardless of what news media or popular press discuss.

III. Patience - We understand it takes time for a change in sentiment, sector rotation, or for other investors to notice the value we have identified. We are willing to wait, collect dividends, and be rewarded with stock appreciation in the long run.
